Job summary

Trove Home Care is expanding its Weekend Care Team in Virginia. We offer consistent hours, meaningful work, and a supportive environment for caregivers with a weekend focus. A Weekend Bonus Incentive is available for those who demonstrate commitment and reliability.

This role includes driving clients, reminders for medications, meal prep, light housekeeping, and optional hands-on personal care with CNAs, PCAs, or HHAs. Local Charlottesville, Crozet, and Troy cases are served.

Qualifications

• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification preferred.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred.
• Strong communication skills with clients, families, and team members.
• Valid drivers license and active auto insurance required.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Drive clients to appointments or errands.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals and assist with cooking.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Hands-on personal care including dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, mobility support, transfers (bed/chair), bathing assistance, toileting and incontinence care.

• $18–$25/hr based on experience
• $100 weekend bonus when you complete 50 weekend hours
• 24/7 supportive care team available
• Local cases in Charlottesville, VA and surrounding areas
• Ideal for caregivers with weekday commitments or seeking supplemental income
• Consistent weekend opportunities available

What You’ll Do

Caregivers assist with a variety of daily living activities, such as:

• Driving clients to appointments or errands
• Providing medication reminders
• Preparing meals and assisting with cooking
• Performing light housekeeping tasks

Caregivers with appropriate certifications (CNA, PCA, HHA) may also provide hands‑on personal care, including:

• Assistance with dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Help with feeding
• Mobility and ambulation support
• Bathing assistance
• Toileting and incontinence care

What We’re Looking For

• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification preferred
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred
