Job summary

Home Instead in Charlottesville, VA is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate in-home care on organized weekend shifts. The role offers weekend and overnight differential, paid training, and opportunity for ongoing education.

Qualifications

• 6 months caregiving experience or willingness to train.
• You must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle with insurance.
• You must be at least 18 years old and able to lift at least 25 lbs.
• You can pass a criminal background check and a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage in conversations.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercise.
• Prepare meals and remind about medications.
• Support personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide occasional transportation for errands or appointments.

Your Pay!

• Caregiver Range ($17.00 - $18.00 / hour)
• CNA Range ($19.00 - $22.00 / hour)
