Job summary

Hireology is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support an elderly client in the Charlottesville area. Evening shifts from 5pm to 9pm, Monday through Sunday, with a flexible schedule.

Pay ranges from $17.00–$22.00 per hour depending on role (Caregiver vs CNA). Training is provided, and benefits may be available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months caregiving experience or relevant CNA/HHA/PCA/DSP background.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle with insurance.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 25 lbs or more.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage in conversations with client.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercise.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Give medication reminders and assist with medications.
• Support personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Perform light housekeeping and errand-related transportation when needed.
