Job summary

Home Instead in North Garden, VA, is seeking Overnight Caregivers to support clients in their homes. Shifts run 8pm–8am; applicants must live within 25 miles of Charlottesville and have caregiving experience or be willing to train.

Pay ranges from $17.00–$22.00 per hour depending on role (Caregiver vs CNA). Benefits include flexible schedules, PTO, training, mileage reimbursement, 401K, and health coverage. Join a leading in-home care team serving the Charlottesville area.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months caregiving experience or CNA/HHA/PCA/DSP, or willing to train.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle with insurance.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 25 lbs.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation while awake.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and stand-by support.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Help with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
