Job summary

Open Arms Solutions in Chicago recruits seasoned caregivers to support seniors at home in Downtown Chicago on weekend and PRN schedules. Earn $18/hr with flexible shifts and biweekly pay, plus paid training and eligibility-based PTO/health benefits.

You'll help with non-medical care, companionship, mobility, meals, hydration, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed, with shifts tailored to your availability.

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional caregiving experience within the past 2 years
• Experience in senior care or home care settings
• Reliable transportation to client assignments
• Ability to complete required background screenings
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional caregiving approach

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Support mobility, transfers, and ADLs
• Prepare meals and encourage hydration
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Offer medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care
• Provide transportation to client homes as needed
• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition
