Job summary

Open Arms Solutions in Chicago, IL, is seeking experienced weekend caregivers for flexible PRN shifts across Downtown Chicago. Join a team dedicated to helping seniors remain safe and supported at home.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, transportation when needed, and provide companionship. Training is provided and you’ll receive biweekly pay, PTO, and health benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience within the past 2 years.
• Experience in senior care or home care settings.
• Reliable transportation to client assignments.
• Ability to pass required background screenings.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility, transfers, and ADLs.
• Prepare meals and encourage hydration.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Give medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to care.
• Provide transportation or accompany clients when needed.
• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition.
