Open Arms Solutions is seeking compassionate caregivers for Weekend and PRN shifts in the Downtown Chicago area. Provide non-medical support to help seniors stay safe and comfortable at home, with duties spanning personal care, meal prep, mobility, and companionship.

Roles include day, evening, overnight coverage based on client needs. Requires 1+ year in caregiving, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass background screenings. Flexible weekend opportunities and paid training are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional caregiving within the past 2 years.
• Experience in home care, senior care, private duty, assisted living, CNA, HHA, or DSP roles.
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID with reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screenings.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional.

Responsabilités

• Provide non-medical support to help seniors stay safe and comfortable at home.
• Assist with personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist mobility and transfers as needed.
• Prepare meals and ensure hydration for clients.
• Offer companionship and conversation to reduce isolation.
• Provide medication reminders to clients as directed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
• Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments as needed.
• Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition.
