Job summary

Sevita, NeuroRestorative, a leading provider of home and community-based health care, is hiring a Caregiver in Mount Laurel, NJ. This part-time weekend role offers $16.25 per hour to start, with increases of $0.50/hour for 1–4 years of experience and $1.00/hour for 5+ years.

You will support clients with daily activities, transportation, meals, and companionship. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid health driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in human services or caregiving preferred, but not mandatory.
• Valid (for at least 1 year), non-restricted driver's license with no restrictions.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Successful background check clearance.
• Caring attitude and dedication to supporting others.
• Ability and willingness to safely bend and lift to assist clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Transport clients to appointments utilizing company vehicles.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Support wheelchair assistance and safe transportation.
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Ensure overall safety and well-being of clients.
• Use proper lifting and bending techniques to physically support clients.
