Sevita's NeuroRestorative division is hiring a Caregiver in New Jersey. You will provide essential support and companionship to individuals with brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries, helping them live safely and with dignity. The role includes weekend shifts and paid orientation.

Starting pay is $16.25/hour with additional differentials for education and experience. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with benefits for qualifying hours and ongoing training

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months - 1 year of caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required.
• Valid, non-probationary driver’s license held for at least 1 year with no restrictions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting others.
• Ability to safely bend, lift, and assist individuals with mobility.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Transport clients to appointments using company vehicles.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide wheelchair assistance and ensure safe mobility.
• Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Help maintain the safety and well-being of each individual served.
• Use proper lifting and body mechanics to safely assist clients.
