Job summary

Sevita’s NeuroRestorative program is hiring a Caregiver in New Jersey for a full-time night shift (Sun-Wed, 11pm–9am). Starting pay is $16.25/hour with additional differentials for education and experience.

You will support individuals with personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship to help them live safely and with dignity. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required.
• Valid, non-probationary driver’s license held for at least 1 year with no restrictions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Transport clients to appointments using company vehicles.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide wheelchair assistance and ensure safe mobility.
• Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Help maintain the safety and well-being of each individual served.
• Use proper lifting and body mechanics to safely assist clients.
