Job summary

Highgate Hotels in the Buffalo area seeks a Breakfast Attendant to deliver friendly, efficient service in the hotel's complimentary breakfast area. You will greet guests, maintain spaces, and support beverage and food service while upholding cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A Food Handlers card is required where applicable; TIPs training may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must meet legal age to serve alcoholic beverages and pass the #TIPs as required by property.
• Must obtain Food Handlers card per city/county/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.
• Greet and seat guests at appropriate tables in a timely manner.
• Ensure quality control of menus with regard to cleanliness and appearance.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables and spaces per client request or management instruction.
• Support beverage and food service and dishwashing tasks as needed.
• Produce high quality drinks including coffee, tea, cocktails as required by hotel.
