Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Weekend Breakfast Attendant to join Residence Inn Cheektowaga/Buffalo. The role focuses on friendly, efficient breakfast service in a hotel setting, ensuring a positive guest experience and smooth operation of the breakfast area.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays, and compliance with safety and service standards. Prior food/beverage experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must meet legal age for serving alcohol and pass responsible serving course as required by property.
• Must be able to obtain Food Handlers card as required by city/county/state.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, friendly, courteous service to guests in the breakfast area.
• Maintain appearance, wear proper uniform and name tag.
• Greet and seat guests as needed and ensure cleanliness of breakfast area.
• Assist with beverage and light food preparation and service.
• Restock and organize service areas and assist other departments as needed.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and side work per station rotation.
• Handle cashiering tasks and end-of-shift paperwork as required.
