Job summary

Highgate Hotels at Residence Inn Binghamton seeks a Breakfast Attendant to provide exceptional service in the complimentary breakfast area. You will greet guests, maintain cleanliness, and support kitchen and service staff throughout shifts.

The role requires flexible scheduling, basic math for cashiering, and a positive, guest-focused attitude. Training on food safety and proper service standards is provided to ensure quality experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must meet local food safety requirements.
• Must be able to obtain Food Handlers card.
• Ability to communicate professionally with guests.
• Strong guest-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a timely manner.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming.
• Ensure quality control of menus and cleanliness.
• Clear, clean and reset tables and spaces per instructions.
• Stock service areas and assist with side work.
• Support beverage and food service tasks as needed.
• Carry out opening and closing procedures and cash handling.
• Answer questions about the hotel and local area attractions.
