Job summary

The Bay Bar and Grille is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to work on site in Bozeman, MT. You will assist the full-time bookkeeper with cash handling, data entry, and daily cash tills.

Experience is preferred but not required; training is provided. This role requires living in the local area and weekend mornings, with a flexible schedule and opportunities to learn Sage MAS 90 and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data and transactions.
• Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered.
• Prepare casino and restaurant cash tills.
• Balance and batch credit card transactions.
• Allocate staff tip-outs appropriately.
• Prepare daily paperwork.

Job description

The Bay Bar and Grille is looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper. Must work on site. In this role, you will work closely with the full-time Bookkeeper ensuring the business has necessary cash and credit card requirements on our main bookkeeper's days off. Experience preferred but not required. We're willing to train the right candidate! MUST LIVE LOCAL, no mobile employment.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data and transactions
• Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
• Prepare casino and restaurant cash tills
• Balance and batch credit card transactions
• Allocate staff tip-outs appropriately
• Prepare daily paperwork
• Assist with payroll accuracy and recording
