Job summary

Navitas Systems LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead cross-functional teams on the factory floor. The role focuses on meeting safety, quality, and productivity targets through effective leadership, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The position involves managing HPWTs, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring compliance with manuals and procedures. Weekend availability is required, with a Friday–Sunday shift schedule, and a strong emphasis on Lean and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading teams within a manufacturing or operations environment, including directing more than 2 associates.
• Knowledge of ISO 2015 requirements.
• Fundamental understanding of lean principles in manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of poka-yoke manufacturing processes, focusing on safety and quality.
• Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safety-first culture and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to production capacity planning to achieve objectives.
• Assist in prioritizing and establishing the weekly production schedule based on open orders, backlog, and MRP.
• Oversee daily operations on the manufacturing floor.
• Coordinate daily with associates to optimize production output and address shortfalls.
• Manage flow of materials, WIP, scrap, and finished goods; drive continuous improvements.
• Track KPIs and prepare reports; address gaps and drive improvements.
