West Star Aviation Inc. in East Alton, IL is seeking a Falcon Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the weekend shift to perform airframe and related systems maintenance on civilian aircraft.

This role requires appropriate licenses, hands-on mechanical skills, and the ability to work within a fast-paced hangar environment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul systems, conduct inspections, and support engine removal/installations as needed, with access to comprehensive benefits starting from

Formación

• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0-2 years aviation maintenance experience for AMT I; 2-4 years for AMT II; 4-6+ years for AMT III; 6+ years for AMT IV.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals and data bases.
• Must communicate effectively in English and work under supervision when required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues
• De-fuel aircraft
• Perform engine removals and installations
• Operate ground support equipment
• Inspect aircraft and components for quality and safety
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment, and tooling
• Follow FAA guidelines and company safety rules
• Communicate clearly with team and supervisors
