YMCA of San Diego County is seeking a Weekend Facilitator for Camp Surf in Imperial Beach to deliver outdoor education and engaging recreational programming for campers aged 7-17. You will lead activities such as archery, climbing, canoeing, and hiking, while ensuring safety and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include supervising campers, preparing activities, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with the Program Director.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED with related field training.
• At least 6 months of outdoor education or related experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children ages 7-17.
• Ability to observe, enforce safety regulations, and respond to emergencies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead diverse activities (archery, field games, climbing tower) and encourage camper participation.
• Teach outdoor education and natural history to campers aged 7-17.
