Job summary

Gtrjobs is seeking an experienced Fabricator for 1st shift in Columbus, OH. You will perform TIG and MIG welding, fabricate components from blueprints, and polish metal surfaces to high quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong welding and fabrication experience, can read and interpret blueprints, and work efficiently with limited supervision. Opportunities to expand skills into custom welding, construction, and heavy equipment are available.

Qualifications

• Strong welding experience is required.
• Fabrication experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/prints is required.
• Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding.
• Experience polishing and finishing multiple types of metal.
• Ability to accurately use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals
• Fabricate components according to blueprints, prints, and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
• Cut, bend, roll, form, and finish metal components
• Polish and finish multiple types of metal
• Measure and inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
• Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Troubleshoot fabrication and welding issues as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures
• Assist with custom fabrication and welding projects
• Perform other duties as assigned
