Job summary

The Arbor Company is seeking a compassionate Activities Assistant to enrich the lives of our residents. This part-time role offers a Monday–Thursday schedule from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, about 20 hours per week, with occasional flexibility for resident needs.

The position involves assisting with activities, accompanying residents on outings, and providing transportation with a community van. It’s ideal for retirees or semi-retired professionals seeking meaningful weekday work with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Friendly, dependable and patient with residents.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Comfortable driving a community passenger van and maintaining a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident activities, events, games, and social programs.
• Safely transport residents to appointments, outings and community events.
• Help residents enter and exit the community vehicle safely.
• Encourage participation and build relationships with residents.
• Set up/clean up activities and complete transportation logs.
