Job summary

The Arbor Company is seeking an Activities Assistant to support residents with engaging programs at our Fulton community. The role emphasizes safety, companionship, and transportation for outings and appointments, contributing to a lively, caring environment.

Shifts are Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM (about 20 hours/week). This rewarding part-time position is ideal for retirees and those seeking weekday work with predictable hours.

Qualifications

• Friendly, dependable, and patient demeanor for interacting with residents.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable driving a community passenger van; clean driving record required.
• Experience in activities, hospitality, recreation, customer service, or senior living is a plus—but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident activities, events, games, and social programs.
• Safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and community events.
• Help residents safely enter and exit the community vehicle.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and encourage participation.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up activities.
• Complete daily vehicle safety inspections and transportation logs.
• Help residents with walkers, packages, and personal belongings as needed.
• Bring positive energy and compassion to every interaction.
