Michaels Woodbury, NY is hiring a Store Team Member to assist customers, stock merchandise, and keep the store well merchandised and in stock. You will operate the register and help with truck unloading and planograms. Applicants should have retail or customer service experience, be able to stand for long periods, and be comfortable with nights, weekends and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Must be at least 16 years old (US).
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship From Store).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and returns/go back processes; keep store well merchandised.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; uphold standards.
• Interact with others respectfully; promote company values; be a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
