Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Two or more years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of medical insurance, patient registration, and collections processes.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service background preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and visitors while ensuring accurate patient registration, insurance verification and collection of patient financial responsibilities.
• Support various business office functions as needed, including patient admissions, scheduling, accounts payable, chart preparation, and payment posting.
