Job summary

Adventurous Playground is seeking a dependable, energetic Playground Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our indoor playground. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and a welcoming environment while supervising staff, supporting birthday parties and events, and addressing issues as they arise.

The Manager will take ownership of the facility and confidently manage operations when owners are not present, including opening/closing, guest flow, and adherence to safety rules.

Qualifications

• Previous management, supervisory, hospitality, recreation, childcare, retail, or customer-service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the playground.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and ready for guests.
• Monitor playground capacity, reservations, check-ins, and guest flow.
• Make sure all guests follow playground rules and safety procedures.
• Identify and report maintenance, safety, or equipment concerns immediately.
• Supervise and support playground and party staff during each shift.
• Assign staff responsibilities and ensure tasks are completed.
• Make sure employees arrive on time and are prepared for their shifts.
• Provide direction, coaching, and feedback when necessary.
• Help coordinate staff coverage when needed.
• Communicate staff concerns or performance issues to ownership.
• Welcome families and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist guests with reservations, memberships, open play, parties, and general questions.
• Professionally handle customer concerns and complaints.

• Answer phones and respond to customer questions as needed.

• Respond appropriately to incidents, injuries, or emergencies.

• Accurately handle payments and point-of-sale transactions.

Playground Manager

Position Summary

Adventurous Playground is looking for a dependable, energetic, and highly organized Playground Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our indoor playground.

The Manager will help ensure that the facility is safe, clean, welcoming, organized, and running efficiently. This is a hands-on position that includes supervising staff, supporting birthday parties and special events, assisting customers, monitoring the play areas, handling opening and closing responsibilities, and addressing problems as they arise.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the facility and confidently manage operations when the owners are not present.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations
