Job summary

Wellhaven Home Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to support seniors in private homes or facilities in Summerville, SC. You will assist with daily living tasks, follow care plans, provide reminders, and offer companionship to help clients live safely with dignity and independence.

This role emphasizes flexibility with schedules, weekly pay, paid orientation and training, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiver experience preferred.
• Dementia and long-term care experience a plus.
• Physically able to assist with hands-on care and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Follow individualized care plans and monitor client health.
• Provide medication reminders and support.
• Offer companionship and emotional encouragement.
• Ensure safety through mobility assistance and proper transfers.
• Assist with meal prep and nutritional support.
• Document care accurately and report changes to the office.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare teams, and staff.

Position Details

• Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour
• Expected Hours: 12–36 per week
