Job summary

Wellhaven Home Care is seeking caring caregivers for part-time positions in Lexington, SC. You will assist clients with daily living tasks, follow care plans, provide companionship, and help with mobility and safety in a home setting.

The role requires 2+ years of caregiver experience, dementia care experience, CPR or willingness to obtain CPR, and a reliable, compassionate attitude. Training is provided, with weekly pay and supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Dementia and long-term care experience required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to assist with hands-on care and mobility.
• Reliable and compassionate with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Follow individualized care plans and monitor client health.
• Provide medication reminders and support.
• Offer companionship and emotional encouragement.
• Ensure safety through mobility assistance and proper transfers.
• Assist with meal preparation and nutritional support.
• Document care accurately and report changes to the office.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare teams, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene

Position Details

• Job Type: Part Time

• Pay:$18.00 per hour

• Expected Hours:24 hours per week

• Every other Saturday & Every Sunday 7a to 7p
