Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Wedding Sales Manager for a premier hospitality and events venue in Washington, DC. You will lead the full sales cycle from inquiries to post-booking follow-ups and drive monthly sales goals.

The role requires at least 5 years in wedding or social event sales, a relevant bachelor's degree, strong negotiation skills, and weekend/night availability. Proficiency in Google Suite; Tripleseat is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of wedding or social event sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Communications, or related field.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close deals consistently.
• Flexible schedule with availability on weekends and nights.
• Proficient in Google Suite; knowledge of Tripleseat is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly sales goals and accurately track projections.
• Update and maintain all sales collateral and website content in collaboration with the Marketing Team and Director of Sales.
• Network with local wedding industry professionals to build lasting relationships.
• Manage the full sales process, from initial inquiries to post-booking follow-ups.
• Conduct on-site walk-through appointments and engage with clients during wedding menu tastings.
• Attend weekly sales and events meetings to align on strategies and goals.
