Job summary

District Winery seeks a talented Wedding Sales Manager with 5+ years in wedding sales to grow bookings and maximize inventory. You will meet with engaged couples, close deals, and report to the Director of Sales, driving a memorable venue experience.

Responsibilities include managing inquiries, on-site walk-throughs, deposits, and post-booking handoff to the events team, with weekends and some evenings required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in wedding/social event sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Communications, or related field.
• Ability to negotiate and close deals consistently.
• Flexible schedule with weekends and nights available.
• Proficient with computer tools, Google Suite; Tripleseat a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meeting monthly sales goals and accurately tracking projections.
• Updating, implementing and maintaining all sales collateral and website language with Marketing and Director of Sales.
• Networking within the local market wedding industry to foster relationships with planners, influencers and vendors.
• Managing all social event inquiries and guiding clients through the full sales process.
• Conducting on-site walk-through appointments and building client relationships.
• Collect deposits, manage payments and assist in final invoicing.
• Participate in weekly sales and events meetings and align with venue visions.
