Qualifications

• 3+ years of hospitality, catering, wedding, or social-event sales experience.
• Demonstrated success generating and closing high-value event business.
• Experience working toward defined sales and revenue goals.
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.
• Experience conducting site tours, developing proposals, negotiating, and closing.
• Understanding of guestroom blocks and hotel/group room revenue.
• Knowledge of catering, F&B, and event-space sales.

Responsibilities

• Drive wedding and social-event sales through proactive prospecting, relationship development, referrals, and inbound lead conversion.
• Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through site tour, proposal, negotiation, and signed agreement.
• Achieve established revenue goals across guest rooms, F&B, and event-space rental.
• Maximize the total value of each event through room blocks, wedding-weekend activities, food & beverage, and additional event opportunities.
• Develop relationships with wedding planners, event professionals, referral partners, and other sources of social business.
• Conduct compelling property tours and site inspections for prospective clients.
• Create customized proposals and experiences based on each client's needs.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate account activity within hotel sales and CRM systems.
• Partner closely with events and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale through execution.
• Monitor market activity, competitive venues, and booking trends to identify new opportunities.
• Represent the property at industry events, networking functions, wedding-related events, and sales activities.
