Job summary

Concord Hospitality Enterprises is seeking a Catering & Sales Manager with wedding experience to lead catering sales in Jacksonville. You will solicit new business, negotiate events, and coordinate with hotel departments to ensure flawless execution of social and corporate catering, as well as guest room sales.

The role requires strong networking, prospecting, and a go-getter attitude, with a flexible schedule including weekends and peak-season Tuesday–Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years catering sales experience or 2 years in hotel catering/Convention Services, Banquet, Hotel Sales or Culinary Arts.
• Experience in wedding industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with clients for events and inform hotel staff of arrangements in writing.
• Solicit new business daily and coordinate local marketing with hotel teams.
• Identify operational challenges and coordinate with staff to solve them.
• Incorporate current event trends into planning and design.
• Collaborate with sales team for catering functions and maximize facility use.
• Maintain budgeted sales quotas and develop ideas to increase catering revenue.
