Four Seasons Cabo del Sol is seeking a Wedding and Social Sales Manager to secure group weddings, social events and celebrations with a strong client base, including potential resort buy-outs. The role can be based on property or remotely in key feeder markets with travel as needed.

Excellent English/Spanish proficiency and a background in hospitality are essential, along with 3+ years in luxury wedding sales. The position offers a competitive salary and an incentive plan.

About The Role

The Wedding and Social Sales Manager primary responsibility is secure group wedding, social and celebrations, which include 10 guest rooms or more. Business from the Social Market for events of all sizes, up to and including full resort buy-outs through active and effective promotion, solicitation, and prospecting, while maintaining Four Seasons standards and maximizing revenue/profit potential.

Based on property at our resort in Mexico or in a key feeder market with strong client base.

What Will You Do

• Actively solicit new business and respond to inquiries with the intention of confirming profitable business and achieving Sales Goals
• Conduct property tours and entertain planners of social events, weddings and homeowner events.
• Coordinate the sales efforts between sales department and events to insure proper utilization of event space to yield maximum revenues
• Execute the planning of events after selling
• Finalize the requirements of confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue,
• Ensure satisfaction of client at the outset of all events
• Assist with all guest inquires within the Sales, Marketing and Events Department, including assistance with high telephone volume and walk-in site inspections
• Be fully versed in the facilities and capabilities of the resorts competitive set
• Negotiate, draft, generate and confirm/sign group contracts that ensure hotel budget and revenue targets are achieved
• Have a strong attention to detail, monitor quality and be obsessively service oriented

What You Bring

• Position based on property preferred. However, open to remote position in key feeder market
• College education in Hospitality preferred
• At least 3 years previous experience handling weddings and social market for a luxury resort.
• Excellent reading, writing & oral proficiency in the English and Spanish language.
• Proven interpersonal skills with a track record of successful client interactions
• Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Cvent, Delphi and Opera
• Knowledge of Delphi Sales and Catering Software
• Ability to travel as needed to prospect and secure business for the hotel
