Job summary

AES Clean Energy is hiring a Manager, Interconnection (WECC) to lead the WECC interconnection team through the full life cycle of development and execution for US projects. You will coordinate study scoping, budgets, schedules, and trade-off analyses with multiple internal teams and external parties.

The role requires strong leadership, interconnection expertise, and the ability to drive schedules and regional strategies while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years' work history in renewable or traditional energy development, or transmission planning.
• Experience with a utility TRO/ISO or consulting services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead WECC Interconnection team through full development and execution life cycle.
• Oversee interconnection studies, budgets, and schedules; optimize outcomes.
• Coordinate with internal/external partners to advance projects.
• Travel up to ~20% as required.
• Develop metrics and reports for management on progress.
