Job summary

Upward Engine is seeking a Part-Time Website Project Manager with at least 2 years of relevant experience to join our team. This role is approximately 15 to 25 hours per week and can be hybrid or remote depending on training needs and office schedules.

You’ll manage website projects end-to-end, serving as the primary client contact, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring on-time delivery to our quality standards. Excellent communication and ownership are essential.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Part-Time Website Project Manager with at least 2 years of relevant experience to join our team.

This position is approximately 15 to 25 hours per week and may be worked hybrid or remote depending on training needs and office schedules.

In this role, you’ll manage website projects from start to finish while serving as the primary point of contact for our clients. You’ll work closely with clients and our internal teams to keep projects moving, remove roadblocks, gather approvals, and ensure each website is delivered on time and meets Upward Engine’s quality standards.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, proactive, comfortable communicating with clients, and willing to take ownership of making sure projects don’t get stuck.

What You’ll Do

• Manage client relationships throughout the website project lifecycle and serve as the primary contact for website-related questions and requests.
• Proactively follow up with clients to gather website content, feedback, approvals, and other materials needed to move projects forward.
• Make sure clients and internal team members have everything they need at each stage of the website build.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure edits, revisions, and deliverables are completed on time.
• Track project timelines, milestones, and outstanding items.
• Identify potential delays or roadblocks and work proactively to resolve them before they impact delivery.
• Keep clients informed about project progress, next steps, and expectations.
• Manage multiple website projects and priorities at the same time.
• Help ensure completed websites meet client expectations and Upward Engine’s quality standards.
• Take ownership of projects from kickoff through completion and launch.

Qualifications

• Experience in digital marketing, project management, client management, website development, or a related field.
• Experience managing client relationships and communicating directly with customers.
• Experience managing projects from beginning to completion.
• Website project management or website build experience is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working with digital marketing tools and project management platforms.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a team.
