Job summary

Speechmatics is seeking a Website and Content Lead to own the look, accuracy, and search performance of the Speechmatics website. You will publish pages in Contentful, write and edit web content, and create visuals to keep the site on-brand as we grow.

You will monitor search health and optimise metadata, headings, and schema for both traditional and AI-driven search, while collaborating with marketing and engineering to evolve the site. This hybrid role involves 2–3 office days weekly.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on accuracy and tone.
• Experience maintaining a website in Contentful using existing content models.
• Awareness of on-page SEO, metadata, and content structure.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day look, content accuracy and search performance of the Speechmatics website.
• Build and publish pages quickly in Contentful, using existing content models and tooling.
• Write and edit web content that is accurate, clear and on-brand; create visuals to keep site consistent.
• Monitor search health and optimise metadata, headings, internal linking, content structure, and schema for visibility in traditional and AI-driven search.
• Design concepts and specs for new React components for developers to build from.
• Collaborate with marketing and engineering to evolve the site without fragmenting.
