Job summary

Sterling Medical Products is seeking a senior SEO/Content Architect to lead architecture across seven properties and ensure scalable, high-quality product content. You will design a system that generates pages from structured data, maintain cross-property alignment, and optimize for AI-assisted search visibility and robust technical SEO on WordPress and Shopify.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in SEO, with at least 3 owning strategy
• Programmatic or templated SEO at scale
• Generative engine optimisation (GEO)
• Deep technical SEO: information architecture, canonicalisation, structured data
• Experience across multiple sites, markets or brands
• Hands-on with WordPress and Shopify
• Strength in either B2B lead-generation SEO or ecommerce SEO
• Expert with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or SEMrush
• Still hands-on: audits, specs, tooling
• Experience hiring and managing writers or SEO contractors
• Excellent spoken and written English; able to work with US stakeholders
• Able to own outcomes with minimal supervision across a time difference

Responsibilities

• Portfolio architecture: define what lives where, interlinking, canonicalisation policy, and cross-site SKU presentation
• Programmatic page generation for hundreds of SKUs across orthopedics, imaging, womens health, dental, protective apparel and cleanroom
• Own GEO: cite rate in AI answers, structure content for extraction and share of voice vs competitors
• Technical SEO across WordPress and Shopify: site structure, internal linking, schema, crawl management, Core Web Vitals
• Launch SEO for three new properties on shared architecture
• Create original product content at scale with AI-assisted production and guard against duplicate copy
• Migration hygiene: redirects, equity preservation, duplicate-content prevention
• Build and manage writers and SEO contractors as the program grows
