Job Description

Supervisor: Foreman

Description: Performs manual duties across multiple projects, requiring varied experience and the ability to work independently. This role may involve learning new skills as a second step in career development.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Lift, carry, and hold construction materials, tools, and supplies.
• Clean tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Dig, spread, and level dirt, sand, and gravel using hand tools.
• Assist equipment operators with positioning machines and verifying grades.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, and other materials.
• Direct laborers in pouring concrete and erect shoring and bracing.
• Assist in pipe installation and maintain erosion control measures.
• Use power and air tools safely.
• Assist in other operations as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to move around the jobsite, including climbing ladders and operating heavy equipment, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Adherence to safety policies and reporting unsafe activities.
• Participate in team efforts to meet departmental and company goals.
• Provide leadership through example and knowledge sharing.

Additional Information

Knowledge of safety policies, physical activity requirements, outdoor working conditions, and pre-employment screenings are essential. Less than a high school diploma is required, with three or more years of related construction experience preferred.
