Job summary

Peterson Technology Partners (PTP) is seeking a Quality Assurance Web & Automation Engineer to join their team in Chicago area. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality testing standards across web applications, with a strong emphasis on automation and regression testing, interfacing with Product Owners, Developers, and Scrum Masters.

The ideal candidate has extensive manual and automated testing experience, including front-end and back-end validation, and will contribute to test data creation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area.
• Hands-on experience with Planning and Manual test execution.
• Experience with Regression Test Strategies and regression suite maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and design documents to create effective test cases.
• Plan and execute Manual, Functional, and Regression test suites.
• Develop and maintain Automated Regression suite.
• Identify, report, and track defects and UX issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams on root cause analysis.
• Drive improvements in Agile Scrum delivery.
