QualityAI in Chicago seeks a Manual Tester to join our growing team. This role requires onsite presence at times, with responsibilities spanning test case design, manual execution, and defect resolution.

You will work closely with developers and business analysts, participating in daily standups and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of QE/QA experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering practices and objectives.
• Ability to communicate technical information at a high level using common language.
• Reliance on accountability for individual and team objectives with a focus on quality.
• Ability to be onsite in Chicago office location daily when needed.

Responsibilities

• Test case design and peer review.
• Manual test execution.
• Identify and communicate obstacles to completing tasks on schedule.
• Participate in daily standups and provide feedback.
• Engage with developers and business analysts in defect resolution.
• Highlight requirement and design gaps early in development.
• Create and maintain documentation for knowledge sharing.
