Job summary

Datadog, Inc. is seeking a Technical Escalations Engineer 2 (Web Platform) for the US-West region. You will develop deep expertise, lead high‑stakes technical calls, and mentor global teams to resolve complex platform issues.

You will partner with Engineering and Product, iterate on improvements, and own end‑to‑end investigations across authentication, identity, and the visualization stack. A strong IAM background is valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep technical expertise and stay current with product evolution.
• Investigate escalations, lead high-stakes calls, and drive urgent resolutions.
• Run learning sessions and mentor Global Support Engineering team.
• Partner with Eng/Prod to identify gaps and advocate for customer needs.
• Own Web Platform investigations including authentication, dashboards, and visualization stack.
• Coordinate cross-team investigations and ensure accountability for outcomes.
• Develop internal tooling and reusable workflows for efficiency.
