Job summary

The City of Charlotte’s CCM team seeks a web support specialist to design, develop, and maintain city web properties, ensuring accessibility and quality.

You will work on charlottenc.gov, applying HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript to create user-friendly, responsive web pages, while collaborating with content creators, designers, and developers in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with two years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, an associate or bachelor’s degree with one year of related experience.
• Experience with web design, content management, and ADA compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and monitor web applications.
• Implement HTML/CSS from design mockups and ensure responsive pages.
• Collaborate with web team and stakeholders to deliver web solutions.
• Ensure all web content is 508 and WCAG 2.1 compliant.
