Job summary

Epic Games is seeking a Web Engineer Intern to join the Tools & Portals team within Epic Online Services. You will work on full-stack features with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, while supporting backend services using NestJS and Node.js.

You will gain hands-on experience with production infrastructure including AWS, Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to AI-assisted software development workflows and internal tools used across Epic Games.

Qualifications

• Interest in full-stack web development and learning modern engineering technologies.
• Some familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or similar web technologies through coursework, projects, or previous experience.
• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and contribute to solving well-defined engineering problems.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS with guidance from the team.
• Contribute to development of backend services and APIs using Next.js, NestJS, and Node.js.
• Learn and apply development practices for production infrastructure including AWS, Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Write, test, review, and deploy production code alongside experienced engineers.
• Learn and apply AI-assisted software development workflows throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to internal tools and developer-facing platforms used across Epic Games.
