Job summary

Aptive, a federal contracting partner, seeks a Web Developer to design, develop, modernize, and maintain SharePoint, Internet, and Intranet sites for the VA NTSP program. You will ensure accessibility, compliance with VA standards, and performance across the federal healthcare ecosystem.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of web development experience, a relevant BA/BS, and the ability to obtain a VA PIV credential.

Qualifications

4+ years of web development experience including design, development, and maintenance of SharePoint and web platforms
BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field required
Experience with federal agencies, VA programs, or government healthcare clients preferred
Ability to obtain VA PIV credential and pass background investigation as required
Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship
Proficient with Section 508 accessibility standards and VA Style Guide compliance

Responsibilities

Design, develop, modernize, and maintain SharePoint, Internet, and Intranet websites for NTSP program operations and VA stakeholder needs
Conduct website assessments and develop plans, templates, and visual mockups
Establish and maintain website user groups and access permissions per VA security policies
Prepare content for posting in compliance with 508 accessibility standards and VA Style Guide
Monitor website performance for accessibility, QA, and SEO, implementing improvements
Support transition of maintenance responsibilities to Government personnel at contract end
