Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is hiring a Technical Web & Software Developer to design, build, test, and maintain SharePoint sites, web interfaces, and application features supporting AF/A10 missions and other DoD programs.

The role blends front-end design with development and QA to improve usability and reliability. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in SharePoint/web design, software development, or QA, plus HTML/CSS and knowledge of C#, Java,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years in SharePoint/web design, software development, or QA.
• HTML/CSS and modern languages (C#, Java, JavaScript, .NET).
• Understanding of usability principles, accessibility, secure coding, and SDLC.
• Experience with relational databases, RESTful services, or automated testing frameworks.
• Active Secret clearance or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain SharePoint sites, internal web pages, and simple workflows; create clear layouts, navigation, and content structures.
• Develop and enhance application features, refactor code, fix defects, and participate in requirements refinement, design discussions, and code reviews.
• Implement automated and manual tests, execute test plans, identify edge cases, and support defect triage and regression testing.
• Apply usability, branding, accessibility, and secure coding standards across web and software products.
• Collaborate with analysts, users, and leadership to translate requirements into functional, maintainable interfaces and applications.
• Contribute to documentation, testing improvements, and troubleshooting across development and production environments.
