Job summary

The University of Scranton seeks a Web Content Coordinator to create, manage, and optimize website content that aligns with the University’s brand and mission. You will publish and optimize text, images, and multimedia using the CMS, applying SEO best practices and ensuring accessibility.

Lead content review schedules, collaborate with Marketing and Admissions, and maintain content calendars and audits in a dynamic higher-education setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing or a related field.
• Three to five years of related professional experience in web content development, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Experience using SEO, GEO and other optimization techniques and knowledge of web analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, upload and maintain web content using the University’s CMS system, following content, style and brand guides.
• Collaborate with Marketing, University Communications, Creative Services and Admissions to ensure assets align with mission and brand guidelines.
• Prepare content to align with SEO and GEO strategies and meet WCAG accessibility standards.
