Qualifications

• Five to seven years of experience in web content management, with 3 of the last 5 years.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this opportunity.
• Experience with publication of marketing materials and magazines is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional writing, editing, and proofreading for clear content across channels.
• Create and refine publication documents, marketing materials, and Public Roads magazine content with QA and version control.
• Deliver marketing plans, summaries, newsletters, flyers, brochures, guides, posters, and web content.
• Edit and format publications at all production stages in electronic format.
• Ensure branding, style, and accessibility standards across documents and products.
• Use CMS to upload and post content on agency websites and intranets.
• Optimize text for SEO and ensure 508 compliance for web pages.
• Coordinate quarterly certification process for up-to-date information.
• Use graphic applications to crop and adjust web images as needed.
