Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions seeks an experienced software QA engineer specializing in web UI automation and API testing for our Orlando-based client engagement. You will design and execute test scripts across QA and staging environments, report defects, and integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software QA, strong Java skills, and hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Rest Assured, Jenkins, Git, Maven, and JIRA.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years in software QA/testing.
• Expertise in Web UI testing and automation with Selenium/WebDriver.
• Experience in API testing/automation with Rest Assured/ReadyAPI.
• Proficient in Java.
• Strong in Git, CI/CD (Jenkins), build tools (Maven/ANT), debuggers (Charles/Fiddler).
• Familiar with Jira and QMetry for test management.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and gather requirements.
• Develop test scripts.

• Report bugs and triage defects.

Job description

Skills Required:

• Must have - 10+ yrs. of experience in software engineering - QA testing
• Must have - Expertise in Web UI testing and automation using Selenium WebDriver / TestNG / Junit / etc
• Must have - Experience in API testing and Automation using Rest Assured / ReadyAPI / etc
• Must have - Proficient in Java
• Must have - Experience using Version control (GIT), CI/CD Tools (Jenkins), Build Tools, (Maven, ANT, etc), Debugging Tools (Charles/Fiddler), Agile Management Tool (JIRA), Test Management Tool (QMetry)
• Must have - Good communication
• Good to have - Testing / automation on POS systems / applications
• Good to have - Knowledge Mobile testing / automation

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and Gather requirements
• Develop Test scripts
• Execute Test cases / scripts in various environments (QA,STG,etc)
• Bug reporting and Defect triage

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $32.36/hour - $50.56/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
