Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a QA Engineer with strong hands-on API and mobile testing experience for a Retail/E-commerce environment. The role focuses on mobile testing, data integrity, and end-to-end retail transactions using test execution, automation, and debugging.

The position is on-site in Camp Hill, PA, under a 5 months 10 days contract. The candidate will work with CI/CD tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across Web and Mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in functional digital/Mobile testing.
• Strong understanding of retail transaction flows and hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing (iOS & Android).
• Experience using HTTP Proxy applications like Charles/Fiddler or similar tools.
• Experience with mobile dev tools (Android Studio/Xcode).
• Experience with test/defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Testrail).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL queries for backend validation).
• Expertise in Appium Mobile Automation Framework.
• Strong experience with Java, Maven, TestNG/JUnit.
• Solid experience in Mobile Manual Testing using Postman.
• Experience in Mobile Automation using Appium/Java/TestNG or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, Mobile Testing (iOS/Android/Web) OAuth, JWT, JSON, and API integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Cruise Control, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Experience with network debugging tools such as Proxyman or Charles Proxy.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Web/Mobile systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Web / Mobile systems.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing of Web/Mobile applications.

• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber) and reporting tools such as Allure or Extent Reports

Retail Domain Testing

• Experience in Retail/E-commerce systems
• Understanding of Cart, checkout, order lifecycle, Pricing, promotions, and loyalty systems (CrowdTwist)
• Perform API-to-database validation and cross-system reconciliation

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $31.14/hour - $48.66/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
