Partners for Community Development, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Weatherization Technician to install attic, sidewall, and floor insulation and apply energy-saving upgrades in homes throughout the community.

You will learn weatherization techniques and operate power tools safely while serving your neighbors. This role offers a 4-day work week, weekly pay, opportunities for growth, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Read work orders and perform basic math for material estimates.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse customers.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks in challenging environments and extreme weather.
• Comfortable working at heights (up to 4 stories) and in confined spaces.
• Lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, auto insurance, and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install attic insulation, sidewall insulation, floor insulation, vents, weather-stripping, and other energy efficiency upgrades.
• Learn and apply weatherization techniques and home energy-saving methods.
• Safely operate power tools and specialized equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading vehicles and managing inventory.
• Complete assigned work to quality standards.
• Participate in training programs and seminars.
• Maintain customer property and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors.
