Job summary

Travel domestically and internationally to support radars worldwide. Responsibilities include installing and calibrating radar systems, troubleshooting with test equipment, and documenting builds, while collaborating with forecasters, engineers and QA to ensure product quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years experience in electronics, manufacturing, or RF systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools for assembly and repair tasks.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of safety standards (ESD, OSHA) and quality management systems.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain weather radar equipment and subassemblies.
• Diagnose issues using testing equipment and hand tools.
• Assemble radar systems and components to spec.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Conduct tests and quality checks to verify functionality.
• Review BOMs, diagrams, and test docs for troubleshooting.
• Maintain records of construction and testing; suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with forecasters, QA, and engineers to meet production goals.
