Job summary

Amazon in Seattle is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to own weather and incident response strategy for our last-mile delivery network. This role focuses on transforming weather forecasts into capacity recommendations and measuring the impact on delivery performance.

You will partner with meteorologists, the central response team, and business stakeholders to balance volume and delivery quality, building scalable reporting and processes for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Experience translating forecasts or data into actionable recommendations.
• Proven program management experience and ability to build reporting from scratch.
• Comfort making decisions with incomplete information and senior-level communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the framework that measures weather impact on delivery quality and capacity.
• Build and maintain models turning forecasts into capacity and volume guidance.
• Measure forecast accuracy and effectiveness of recommendations.
• Partner with central response team and meteorologists to improve playbooks and forecasts.
• Scale the program across the network with scalable tools and processes.
• Present strategy and trade-offs to senior leadership.
