Job summary

Kelly is looking for an AM01 - Light Assembly Worker to be based in Carlisle, PA, on the 1st shift. You will pick parts, read orders, move items, scan materials, and help maintain inventory in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Picking parts according to customer orders and placing parts in designated work areas.
• Reading and interpreting customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents.
• Moving items from bulk containers, racks, shelves, or bins according to a predetermined sequence.
• Filling requisitions or requests for materials and placing them in appropriate areas.
• Scanning materials and moving them per standard work instructions.
• Assisting with accurate inventory tracking and physical counting of materials.
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Performing facilities maintenance duties as needed and other assigned tasks.

What’s a typical day as an AM01 - Light Assembly Worker? You’ll be:

• Picking parts according to customer orders and placing parts in designated work areas

• Moving items from bulk containers, racks, shelves, or bins according to a predetermined sequence (size, type, style, color, or product code)
• Filling requisitions or requests for materials and placing them in appropriate areas
• Scanning materials and moving them per standard work instructions
• Assisting with accurate inventory tracking and physical counting of materials
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization (sweeping, dusting, mopping)
• Performing facilities maintenance duties as needed and other assigned tasks

• Have a high school diploma or GED (required)
• Are computer literate, with experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) (required)
• Are self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment
• Are flexible and able to work overtime or varying shifts as needed
• Can read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
• Can perform basic mathematical calculations
• Are committed to working safely and following company environmental, health, and safety standards
• Can frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Are comfortable standing, walking, bending, twisting, and occasionally climbing stairs during your shift
